The best rescue is one that never happened! Preparedness and planning are significant parts of being safe on the river. However, it is impossible to completely eliminate uncertainty in the outdoors. Designed to teach skills on handling river rescue and first aid situations in the remote and dynamic environment we play and work. Our rescue program serves the needs of recreational and professional river enthusiasts alike.
Course Description
Learning rescue skills with your paddling partners is essential to practice and develop. In a day or multiple days of custom swiftwater rescue instruction, focus on your specific goals. From beginners to advanced boaters, grow your risk management mindset, skillset, and practicum. This course combines an outdoor classroom with hands-on learning scenarios in whitewater.
